Boyd, Françoise

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Pioneer Manor on Monday, March 27, 2023, at age 80.

She leaves behind the love of her life of 57 years Wilfred Boyd. Loving mother of Denis Boyd (Lynn), Tina Boyd (Reel Gauthier), Tammy Séguin (Vincent) and Peanut her fur baby. She will be remembered by her grand children Kyle, Jessica, Kevin, Brandon, Shayn, Erik, Tessa and her great-grand children Wyatt, Kendrick, Emerald, Logan, Olivia, Owen, and Lexi. They are all her pride and joy. She always spoke highly and with pride of her children, grand children, and great-grandchildren.

Daughter of Alphège and Jeanne Vaillant (née Chamberland) both predeceased. Sister of Jeannette Trudeau (predeceased), Hector Vaillant (Beverley), Rhéal Vaillant, Valmon Vaillant (Françoise), Noëlla Vaillancourt (Benoit), Marcel Vaillant (Naida), Richard Vaillant (Thérèse).

Françoise was a caring lady who was always ready to help. It did not matter who you were, she welcomed everyone with open arms and made sure you were taken care of. This all with some good fun, some teasing, and some laughter. Her infectious laugh will always be remembered as it could be heard within a room.

The family would like to thank all PSW and nursing staff in the Park area at Pioneer Manor for making her final months happy and comfortable. She sure loved them all and to tease them.

She will be missed by so many. A limb has fallen from our family tree that says grieve not for me but remember the best times, the laughter, the good life I lived while I was STRONG.
