It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Aline Bourgeois (nee Poitras) on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Rosina (nee Laurin) Poitras. Loving wife of 50 years to Telex Bourgeois. Beloved mother of Jacques (Emily) and Colette. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren Patrick (Sam), Dylan, Simon and Jaden; as well as 1 great granddaughter Myla. Her memory will live forever in the hearts of her 2 sisters and 5 brothers as well as her nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the emergency department and the 8th floor nurses who provided excellent care. Special thanks to Dr. Ranga Shivakumar and Dr. Fabio Luison. Another special thank you to Lise St. Jacques from Bayshore for her care and friendship. As per Aline’s request there will be no visitation or service. Donations may be made directly to the Northeast Cancer Centre and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
My sincere condolences to Telex and his family. It is hard to lose your loved one. I worked with Aline in the French scout groups she was a wonderful person. May she rest in he arms of our Lord.
