Passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at the age of 59 years in Sudbury. Dear son of Roger Sr., and predeceased by Barbara (nee Campbell). Beloved husband of Lauralee (nee Cooley). Loving father of Trever (Jessica), Roger III and Devan. Cherished grandfather of Emma – Lynn. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Roberta Rowney (Steve) and Rhonda Desilva (Dom). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Kevin, Sandy, Autumn, Ashlyn, Katie, Candice, Crystal, great nieces and nephews, Cole, Lucas, Tristin, Donte, Shyan and Kamar, many family members and numerous friends. Roger had many interests, including hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs, golf, horses, fishing, music and dancing. He had the gift to make people feel better or smile with his love for humor, practical jokes, his loud presence and honesty. He also had a love for road trips, yard sales, video games and Cadillacs. Boomer touched many lives and made many friends.
A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made directly to Colorectal Cancer Canada and would be appreciated by the family.
