BOUCHARD, CARMEN

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the recent passing of Carmen Bouchard (nee Lépine) on October 12, 2016 surrounded by family at Sudbury Maison Vale Hospice. Loving daughter of the late Gérard and Estelle Lépine (Lemay).  She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Yvon Bouchard. Beloved mother of Steve Bouchard (pre-deceased) Remi & Chrissy Bouchard of Elliot Lake, Gaston Bouchard & Lisa Stevens of Hanmer, Eric & Céline Boulet of Chelmsford. Cherished Mamie to Miguel & Adèle Boulet, also her Duke. Sister of Jean Guy Lépine (pre-deceased), André Lépine (pre-deceased), Sylvie Lépine (pre-deceased), Lisette and Greg Willett of Elliot Lake, Darquise Lépine of Burlington, Yvon Lépine of Val Caron, Marc & Cathy Lépine of Mckerrow, Paul Lépine & Janice Campbell of Elliot Lake, Paulette & Ted Linley of Sault Ste Marie and her Brother and Sister in Law Don & Lise Whalen of Spanish. Loved by numerous Nieces and Nephews, cousins and dear friends. She had many passions, one was quilting, she belonged to the Elliot lake quilt guild for 20 years, and also a small quilting bee “Calico Friends” and has made lots of friends threw out the years and teaching each other new things. Her second passion was taught by her mother at a young age, is knitting and she would make several pairs of socks and mitts and donate them to Bobby Alexander’s telethon every year. Her final passion was when she learned and became a florist designer, and that is where she meet her dear friend Heather Murray. During the summer months, she enjoyed her time at camp. But most of all, her pride and joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She loved holidays, special occasions, and to cook and bake for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Maison Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family. A memorial mass will be celebrated at Église Ste. Marie in Elliot Lake, 130 Hillside Dr. N. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Burial at the Elliot Lake cemetery to follow.
