Bodson, Albert It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Albert “Pitou” Bodson, on Sunday January 19th, 2020, at Health Sciences North. With his loved ones by his side, he gained his wings at the age of 82. Adoring husband and best friend of 61 years to Patricia “Patsy” (née McMichael). Cherished father to Diane Sauve (Richard), Raymond Bodson (Lise) and Suzane Theriault (Norm). Devoted pépère to Lynn (Ryan), Francine (Danny), Andre (predeceased), Jordan, Stephan, Marc (Stephanie) and Ryan. He will be dearly missed by great grandchildren, Natasha, Chanelle, Brandon, Melissa and Emma. Cherished brother of Claire Beaulieu (late Vic), Martha Perrier (Delphis “Pitou”), Gilles, Joe (Rita), Jacqueline Ethier (Roland), Pauline Leguault (Gilles), Maurice (late Pauline) (friend Linda), Rejeanne Rancourt (Dan), Denis (Suzanne) and predeceased by his sister Madeleine Lachapelle (late Marcel) and his brothers Jean, Marcel (late Bernadette), Roger (Alice) and Roland (Suzanne). Born on September 20th, 1937 to the late Rene and Marie Jeanne Bodson. He enjoyed being with his family, playing guitar, fishing and working at Petro Pass. We would like to thank the outstanding nursing staff on the fourth floor of Health Sciences North, for their compassion and kindness. No words can express our gratitude. Although a part of our hearts is gone, there are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you are always in our hearts. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite-d'Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Therese, family will receive patrons at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury are greatly appreciated.
