BLAIS, PAUL

In loving memory of Paul Blais, 54, who passed away suddenly on Friday, August 4, 2017 surrounded by his adoring family in Sudbury, Ontario. Paul’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his loving wife Paula and son Alex, with whom he shared a passion for dirt biking and snowmobiling. Paul’s commitment to his family and strong work ethic set an example for all who knew him. Paul spent over thirty years as a bricklayer and was a long-time member of The Brick and Allied Craftworkers Union of Canada, Local 28. His good-natured, fun-loving teasing and ability to provide for his family will be greatly missed. He is survived proudly by his wife Paula Zanutto and son Alex. Cherished brother of Luc (Colette), Josée, and Sylvie (Gilles Labre) and brother-in-law of Debbie (Chris Cromwell), Mike (Terry), Lori (Dave Groulx). Special uncle of nieces and nephews Kirsty (Tyler Martyniuk), Jeff (Amelie Gagnon), Hunter (Caylin Garton), Taylor (Sam Dubreuil), David, Solomon, Deborah, Daniel, Christopher, Yves, and great-nieces Mariah, Amy, Mia and Jade. He will forever be in the hearts of his special family from Quebec -- parents Louise Larouche and Pierre Boutin, sister Stephanie (Yves) and their children Alexis and Frederique. Paul is predeceased by his parents Dr. Servais Blais and Cécile Blais, and in-laws Norm and Dorothy Zanutto. No service will be held. Support for the Trillium Gift of Life Network and www.beadonor.ca is appreciated. Become an organ donor – Paul would have wanted that. He was one.
