It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Todd Bigelow, with family by his side, on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice at the age of 58 years. Born on May 21, 1961 in Kirkland Lake, ON he was the son of the late Gordon Bigelow and Shirley Welsh (nee Smith). Beloved husband and best friend to Tama (Tami) Bigelow (nee Muncaster). Cherished father to Lauren and Logann. Loving brother to Gary and Barry. Todd will be missed and remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, his four-legged fur babies Wilson and Yuma and his special group of buddies “The Chain Gang”. He worked as a Production Supervisor for Glencore for many years. Todd enjoyed motocross riding, metal detecting, building and flying model airplanes, camping, canoeing, riding his Razor with his 4-legged buddy Wilson by his side, and spending time in his garage working on anything with a motor. He will be remembered for his interests in history, unsolved mysteries, his love for animals, and when his children were younger, he was passionate about volunteering at their elementary school. Todd was a wonderful family man who loved spending time with his 3 girls. His family will remember him as never being too busy to hang out with his many nieces and nephews; he was always happy to play with their toys! Truly a big kid at heart. In lieu of flowers, donation in his name can be made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury.
It has been just over two years now and not a day goes by that I don’t think of Todd. I have his picture in the living room and one in my bedroom both are of all us three boys. One Todd was a baby and I am holding him with Gary next to us, the other we are all in suits just leaving for a wedding. I talk to him when I am walking and sometimes in my garage when I am working on something. I miss him so much, even if we had disagreements we always come around. I just thought I would write something in his memory, never will a day go by without me thinking or talking to Todd. Rest in Peace my good Brother I will be with you Soon.
Love Barry

So sad for you loss Tami, Logan, Lauren, Barry & Gary, my heartfelt condolences to you in this difficult time. Todd & I were inseparable friends growing up in the 70’s, we rode our minibikes hard, our enduros & motocross bikes even harder. Though I could never match Todd’s wheelies and riding skill level, I will forever cherish the friendship & good times we shared along with all the other Chain Gang & Rope Gang members. Nothing has ever come close to the the happiness of those carefree days spent riding & swimming & partying at Second Lake. May You Rest In Peace My Dear Friend, I’ll meet you on the other side where we’ll do the Chain-Shake handshake once again, I will treasure those memories in my heart forever.

Tami, Lauren & Logann No words can express how I feel about Todd’s passing. I loved him, we lived together growing up, and then later in life, we worked together, laughed together. We watched each other grow into men have families and found we had many similar interests. We would call each other when we thought something interesting was on TV and sometimes just to talk for an hour or more. I will remember and love Todd each day in my heart, I can’t stop thinking about you. My last words to you were “have a nice ride, I will see you soon”, you said okay, I hope you didn’t ride all the way on one wheel. R.I.P. Please Tami if there ever is anything call me, please.
Your Loving Brother
Barry

Tami, John and I are so saddened by this news, and the heartbreak it brings to you and your family. Even at a very young age Todd shone as an enlightened soul. He was a kind and gentle man, even when bravado was the cooler thing to be. You and the girls were the light of his life and now you are the spark in his eternal soul. Our hearts our with you.

Tama, Logan and Lauren, there are no words for the pain that you are going through…It is a very sad time in your lives and stories that should make you laugh or smile may make you cry…but with each passing day you will heal a bit more and a bit more and one day those same stories will bring you joy and laughter instead of tears…you do not have to do it alone, you have so many people who love you and are willing to help in anyway that you need…so please don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything…Love you and miss you xo
