It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dianne Bertrand on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Health Sciences North at the age of 69 years. Loving mother of Armand Duhaime and Sonia Brisson. Cherished sister of Nicole, Claudette, Lise, Daniel (predeceased), Mike (predeceased) and Guy. Dianne will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members as well as her very dear friends Kim and Ivan. Born in Sudbury on April 13, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Léo and Jacqueline Bertrand (nee Latreille). She will be met at the Heavenly gates by her partner Ron and her dear beloved “four legged” friend Tootsie. May Dianne find the peace that she was looking for. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Health Care Teams at Health Science North and Maison McCulloch Hospice for the care and support they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made directly to the Northeastern Cancer Foundation or Maison McCulloch Hospice and would be greatly appreciated. In keeping with Dianne’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
