The family announces with sorrow the passing of their dear mother Ruby Bellamy 1918-2023. Ruby was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd (2002), siblings Celia MacAlpine and Robert Mornan.
Beloved mother of David (Mirja), Margaret (Richard Tincombe) and Brenda (Norm Tilley, predeceased). Loving grandmother of Sven, Trevor, Aimee Cooper, Kevin (Addie) and Tanya Bellamy; Sean (Sherry) Green, Sarah (James Pinkerton); Christopher and Jennifer Curry. Also left to mourn her passing are Debbie Tincombe (Ray Read), Judy (Scott Ercit), Melanie Tincombe, Michael Tincombe (Celeste), Suzanne (Jeff Walker) and Sandra (Vince Giroux). There are many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, who will also miss their grandmother.
We would like to extend our thanks to the staff at St Joseph’s Villa for their wonderful care during the last 15 months. In accordance with Ruby’s wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A family celebration will happen later.
So sorry to hear the passing of this wonderful kind lady. My sincere condolences to all of Ruby’s family. When living in Sudbury I often visited Ruby and I never got to leave without something fresh from her garden accompanied by a smile and always a few kind words. I often admired a painting Rudy had hanging on on her wall and when she left Sudbury she gave me that painting which is proudly hanging now on a wall in my Port Hope home. Ruby, I will think of you fondly everytime I sit and gaze at that painting. May you forever rest in peace..
