It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Pickering, Ontario at the age of 41 years. Daughter of the late William Basso Sr and Lorrie Holmes. Dear sister to William Jr., loving mother to Jordan-Lee and Braydon. Cherished granddaughter to the late Fredrick and Stella Holmes, Calvin, and Eileen Basso. She will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jamie-Lynn will be laid to rest with her Nanny Stella November 6th, 2021, at 12:00pm at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. 350 Municipal Road 15, Lively, Ontario. Friends and family are welcome to join. Donations in Jamie-Lynn’s memory can be made directly to the Sudbury food bank https://www.sudburyfoodbank.ca.
I was so saddened to learn of Jamie-Lynn’s passing. She was so loved and had so much more living to do. My thoughts and prayers are with the Basso Family at this difficult time.

Goodbyes hurt the most when the story wasn’t finished. Jamie-Lynn was a beautiful, caring person; a light that could brighten even the darkest room. I’m grateful and proud to have called her a friend, and she will be forever missed. RIP.

I am very saddened to hear the news of Jamie’s passing. I grew up with her on Hyland and Wembley and have many found memories of her in those years. She was like a big sister to me. Thinking of her family during this time.
