Barton, Suzanne “Sue” (née Vachon)

It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the age of 67 years old. Daughter to the late Cécile (née Mallette) and Leopold Vachon. Cherished mother of Patrick Nurse and stepmother of Dave Gauthier. Beloved grandmother of Malachy and Elijah. Wife of the late Alvin Barton. Dear Sister to Gisele (Jim Martin), Gilles (Nicole Vaillancourt), Michel, Madeleine, and Line (Mike Menard). Greatly missed by her best friend and sister, from a different mother, Kim Clement. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sue was known as a caring woman who was always willing to help others. Family was important to her. She enjoyed travelling, playing bingo, and card games. She will be greatly missed. Till we meet again, rest in peace and watch over us. A celebration of life will be held later, once COVID has ended.  Donations can be made directly to the Alzheimer Society.
