Barrett, Marc

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marc Barrett on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Maison McCulloch Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Adored husband and best friend of Adrienne Barrett (nee Jackson). Doting father of Austin and Spencer Barrett. Born in Sudbury on July 23, 1971, he was the son of Richard and Laurice “Lolly” Barrett (nee Miron). Loving brother of Dave Barrett, Jim Barrett (Chantal Dass). Cherished uncle of Jordon, Cassidy, Connor, Adam, Maielle and Layla. He will be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. Due to pandemic restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date when circumstances allow for a large gathering.

  7. Dear Lolly, Richard, Family & Friends, It is with heavy heart that I note the loss of your dear Marc. I remember him well from days at St. Charles College when I thought of him as a gentle, kind, soul, and was blessed by his expansive smile. As a high school friend of Lolly and Richard’s, and hockey friend with Jim and you, I can’t imagine how difficult it is to lose your son/brother. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds.
