Artindale, Marge (née Drader)

In Loving Memory of a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Marge Artindale (née Drader), 72 years passed away with her husband by her side on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Pioneer Manor, Sudbury. Beloved wife of 53 years to Andy Artindale. Loving mother of Andrew (AJ) Artindale (Deb) and Brendon Artindale. Cherished grandmother of Vanessa, Cheyenne Artindale and great-grandmother of Carter and Ryder Bernt. Born in Brandon, MB she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (née Hamilton) Drader and daughter-in-law of Jean and Stewart (predeceased) Smith. Dearly loved sister of Colleen Broens (Bill) both predeceased, Betty Roberts (Bill predeceased), Joe Drader, George (Cathy Henline), Brenda (sister-in-law predeceased), and much loved sister-in-law of Anthony (Bev) both predeceased and Avril (Robert) O’Brien. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. After spending time working at People’s Jewellers, Marge’s main focus in life was being recognized as “Mom”. Her greatest joys in life came from the time she was able to spend raising her family. Marge’s upbringing and values served as the basis for her being community oriented. A very fashionable and proud lady, her legacy will continue to live on as a very loving, caring and understanding person. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In keeping with the family’s request there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marge’s memory directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
