In loving memory of John Arnold who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Laura (Vautour) Arnold for 55 years. Loving father of Carol Moncion (Albert predeceased) of Abbotsford B.C., James of Vancouver B.C., and Vicki Fasciano (David) of Sudbury. Proud Grandpa of Lindsey (Jade), Sabrina, Allison, Olivia, Kindra and Great Grandpa of Alyssa and Zoey. Born in Acton, ON he was the son of the late Rose (Werstine) and Charles Arnold. Predeceased by siblings Margaret, Charles, Dorothy, Edward, Rose, Jerry, Joanne, and Douglas. Survived by his sister Madeleine (Arnold) Box of Parkhill, ON. Fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. John was well known to many through his 45+ years of service at Evans Home Building Centre and his drafting. He made friends wherever he went and was loved by all. As per John’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or celebration of life. He would want everyone to get together with family and friends, have a drink, share memories and laugh. A sincere Thank You to the wonderful doctors and nurses who took such great care of him over the last few weeks. Donations to Health Sciences North ICU Department would be greatly appreciated.

Our sincere condolences to the whole Arnold family. Uncle Johnny was a great guy who loved to laugh and made friends wherever he went. He will be missed by anyone who knew him. RIP “Uncle Johnny”.

Dear Aunt Laura, Carol, Jamie, Vicki and families.So sorry to of Uncle John’s passing. I always looked forward to our trips north and the chance to visit or go on a fishing adventure with Uncle Johnny. He was a special person whom we will all miss.
