It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing our mother Anita vanSantvoort at the Elizabeth Center in Val Caron on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Peter and Delina Sauve (nee Beaudry). Beloved wife of the late Marcel vanSantvoort of Sudbury. Loving mother of Pauline McGuire (Dale) of Windsor, Robert vanSantvoort (Carol) of Val Therese, Gerald vanSantvoort, Ken vanSanvoort both of Sudbury and Roger vanSantvoort (Dora) of Wahnapitae. Predeceased by her sisters Cecile Plouffe (late Bert), Germaine Sauve and brothers Lucien, Pete, Charles and Raymond (Francoise) Sauve. Sadly missed by her sister Betty (Lionel-predeceased)Ferguson and grandchildren Brett, Shelley, Todd, Crystal, Tammy, Tanya (predeceased), Ashly, Jessica, Kristen, Amanda and great-grandmother to Brooke, Aden, Adam, Lilia, Dalia, Madison, Connor, Cole, Kane, Benson, Lucas and Juliana. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses, PSW’s and staff at the Elizabeth Center. A private service for family and close friends will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation can do so to a charity of their choice.
Just now I was informed of Anita’s passing. To Pauline, Gerry, Bobby, Kenny, Roger and families, I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences on the great loss of your beloved mother. Anita was a joy to know. She was kind, funny, hospitable, a great cook, very talented-quilting, knitting, needlepoint, etc., etc. She enriched our lives. Cherished memories will keep her alive in your hearts forever.
