It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Roger Bishop. Roger passed suddenly but peacefully in ICU at Health Sciences North surrounded by family. Roger passed due to traumatic injuries he obtained from a fall. Son of Ronald (deceased) and Georgette, brother to Donald, Roland and Raymond. Beloved husband to Line, father to Mélissa (Brian) and Patric (Kyra). The light of Roger’s days was his two grandchildren Jacob (Mélissa, Brian) and Casey (Patric, Kyra). Roger shared a love of horses with his children and has passed that love onto his grandsons. He has touched many lives on his many different saddles, it be horseback or behind bars on the open road. From farming, to hunting, to ridding above all else family was key! In the words of John Wayne “Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway”. Roger lived each day to the fullest and treated each day as if it were his last! Remember him as the tough, stubborn, barrel of laughs, loving man and think of him when you are riding in whichever saddle suits you even if it has a steering wheel.
So saddened to hear of his passing. We remember he was our mentor in our first experiences with horses always giving us great advice and supporting us with our challenges. His grandchildren will not have the pleasure of getting to know his joie de vivre and his great laughing moments

Line and Family words can never express how sorry we were when we heard of Rogers passing. Our deepest condolences to you and the family. We had a great time with him for the little time we knew him.
