It is with heavy hearts and sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Jessica Julia Colette Richer on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the age of 26. Beloved partner of Erik Alain. Loving mother of Lexie and Aubrie Alain. Cherished daughter of Vickie MacLean and Jim Leclair. Adored daughter in law of Ray Alain and Shelley Johnston. Dear sister of Shawn Chenard & Lara MacLean (Andre Jaques), dear sister in law of Stephanie (Kyle) Stanley. Best “Patante” to Braidon, Carissa, Dylan, Emmett and baby Faith; Blaire, Kayden and Jaxon. She will be greatly missed by her father Pat Richer and many more family, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, friends and more friends. In keeping with Jessica’s known wishes there will be no service or visitation. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. Jessica will be entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services for cremation and returned to her family.
I am at a loss for words… I didn’t really know Jessica. I had only spoke with her a few times. Most recently, I was amazed by her generosity when she offered me a large lot of baby clothes for my newborn daughter. She didn’t ask for anything in return except that I continue to pass on the kindness and generosity that she showed me. Based on the brief conversations we shared, I couldn’t help but take note of how proud she was of her children and her family. May they always remember how much she loved them. My sincerest condolences.

I am so saddened to read this. My heart breaks for Lexie who was friends for years with Avery through daycare and Jk. My condolences to her daughter Aubrie, Erik and her family and friends. 😥
