Manning, Jason Douglas

In loving memory of Jason Douglas Manning, 42 years who passed away on Thursday November 12, 2015. Born in Sudbury, on January 16, 1973 he was the beloved son of Rose Manning of Port Hope and the late Jerome Manning. Loving father of Mari-Jane Manning. Jason will be dearly missed by his best friend Rob, his pet ferret Pepper and several other lifelong friends and loved ones. A true animal lover, he had a soft spot for little dogs and had several of them over the years. Jason loved to ride motorcycles and drive trucks. Reflecting on the memories of Jason will bring a smile to the faces of many and he will not be forgotten. In keeping with Jason’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Rather, in the near future a small gathering of family and friends will assemble for a time to remember him.

  2. I remember meeting Jason back when the family lived in Beaver Lake (Worthington). He was a little on the wild side back then and I recall an occasion or two that together we managed to narrowly avoid trouble. lol. His devilish snicker sort of laugh meant we were having fun, it was contagious. I have not seen Jay in quite some time but remember him fondly. Sorry to hear the news. My sympathies to all the family.

  12. Jason and I were a couple for a few years; we parted as friends, and I have MANY wonderful memories of him. He had such a unique sense of humor, and his sweet caring nature brought warmth to many. He was a very loyal and kind man. So many memories of little things he did to make me laugh, even now frequently make me smile…

He will certainly leave behind many wonderful memories for everyone. He has always been there for us all, in one way or another.

    Til the end, Jason.

My deepest sympathies to Rose and Mari-Jane during this very difficult time.
