Zuliani, Jean Bernice (Nee Gifford)

In loving memory of Jean Zuliani (nee Gifford) 80 years, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Health Sciences North with family by her side.

Jean has joined her beloved husband and best friend of 39 years, Thomas Zuliani (predeceased 2008). Jean carried Tom’s memory with her every day after his early passing.

Loving mother to Richard (Sue) of Sudbury and Lance (Marla) of Coniston. Cherished Noni to Kayla, Christian, Kiera and Kendran, who were the lights of her life. She was always happiest spending time with her grandchildren.

Loving daughter to George and Bertha Gifford, both predeceased. Jean grew up in a large family of 13 children and spoke often of her siblings.

Jean leaves behind many dear friends who enriched her life; Ethel, Gloria, Inez, Lynn, Vivian and so many more. Very dear friend of over 50 years to Linda Reipas. Linda and family were so supportive and helpful, and Jean truly appreciated their friendship.

Always one to help others, Jean volunteered her time to several charities throughout the city, and her love of travel kept her looking forward to the next adventure. Jean had a special talent for fashion, often making her own clothes and jewelry.

After a life well lived, Jean will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. As per Jean’s preferences, there will be no funeral service. Those wishing to remember her may do so with a donation to a charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Pioneer Manor, who took great care of Jean over her last few years. And to the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion as Jean moved on to reunite with the love of her life, Tom.
