Viviane Bell, aged 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, in Sudbury, Ontario.
Viviane was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Bell for 56 years. Throughout those years, they built a life together surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving mom to Karin and Mike, and an adoring grandma to Olivia and Evan — her pride and joy.
She was born on April 1, 1946, in Sudbury to Bernard Larivière and Yolande Charette (née Caya), both predeceased. She was the sister of Doris Routhier (Germain), predeceased; Denise Robillard (Laurent); and Robert (Bob) Charette, predeceased. She was also the sister-in-law of Brian Bell (Kathy), predeceased; Barry Bell, predeceased; Robert (Bob) Bell (Jackie); and Kimberly Armstrong (Ron), predeceased. Viviane will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and members of her extended family.
It was impossible to go anywhere without Viviane running into someone she knew — whether a childhood friend, a colleague from her years as a radiology technician, a fellow hockey parent, or someone she met along the way. She had dear friends who stood the test of time. They were like family, and she loved them dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor; we will be forever grateful for their care and compassion.
As per her wishes, a funeral or service will not be held. Burial will take place at a later date.
