It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Raymond Richard Albert Savard on December 15th, 2025 at the age of 73. Born is Massey on March 8th, 1952, Raymond was the son of the late Ivan Raoul Savard and Amanda May Savard (Gignac)
His greatest legacy was his family, and he is survived by his children Raymond, Crystal, Adèle (Chris) and Jocelyne (Matt). Proud grandfather to Jesse, Justin, Josée, Janel, Riley, Cameron, Eugene, Abbigail, Korbyn, Chloe, Dominic, and Atheena, each of whom brought him immense happiness. He will be deeply missed by many brothers, sisters, great grandchildren and friends who were touched by his Ray of sunshine spirit.
Raymond was a known figure in the hairstyling community; his talent and eye for detail earning him multiple awards over the years. He was a man of immense style, remembered for his sharp suits and his effortless charisma. He later shared his passion and expertise of the craft, serving as an instructor at the Sudbury Academy of Hairstyling. His influence lives on through the many students he mentored over the years.
Raymond was the ultimate host. He took great joy in gathering people, whether he was cooking a large meal, hosting a lively party or singing his heart out at karaoke.
He found joy in the simplicity of nature, spending his days fishing and camping alongside his best friend Jayson and his loyal dog Maggie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
