July 30, 1952 – December 25, 2025
Elaine Phillips, 73, passed away peacefully at approximately 1:00 p.m. on December 25, 2025, at the hospital in Sudbury, Ontario.
Born on July 30, 1952, in Hagersville, Ontario, Elaine lived a life deeply rooted in family, dedication, and resilience. She was the beloved wife of Chuck Phillips and a devoted mother to her children, Michael, Eddie, David, and Carrie. Elaine was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, finding immense joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchild, whose accomplishments she celebrated wholeheartedly.
Elaine’s home was a reflection of her love for her family—filled with photographs and memories proudly displayed over the years. She was known for being outspoken and unafraid to speak her mind, yet at her core, she was fiercely protective and deeply invested in the well-being of those she loved.
As a young mother of four, Elaine and Chuck spent part of their lives in Manitouwadge, Ontario, where she worked at a local restaurant while raising her family. Later, Elaine dedicated part of her time to volunteering with the Ontario Provincial Police in Ennismore, Ontario, a role she took great pride in.
Elaine will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, her unwavering devotion to family, and the lasting legacy of love she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

So sorry for your family’s loss Chuck.
Elaine was always a really nice, kind
and always friendly neighbour of ours
in Ennismore, before they moved to
Sudbury. Too young this life.
She will be missed !

Gramma,
I will always cherish and hold close the memories we share together. I couldn’t have asked for a better grandmother, I would choose you to be my Gramma in every life time that I ever have. I will never forget you and all the amazing things you did for me. Words can’t begin to describe how much you truly meant to me. I’m so sad to see you go as it was way to sudden but I’m glad we got to share a very special and close final goodbye. I miss you so much, but I know that one day we will meet again and you will be waiting to give me the biggest hug. I love you always and forever, to the moon and back. xoxo❤️🌹

I wish I could have known her better but what I do know is she had a dedicated husband and loving children. They loved her. Says it all.
