Loving aunt of nephews and nieces.
Mia loved animals, nature, and being outdoors, having grown up on Little Penage. A celebration of Life will be held in the future. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. I was just thinking about Toivo the other day and of course that led me to thoughts of Mia, Paavo and John. We didn’t live on Little Penage, but we were neighbours and sometimes played together when we were kids. I remember when Toivo and Mia rowed to the end of the lake to visit. Unfortunately, some crazy man came out of the woods and accused us of trespassing. I remembered the terrified look on Mia’s face. I don’t know if she was terrified because of the man or because now her and Toivo had to row back across the lake in there leaky boat. Well, sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family.
