Kirwan, Trevor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trevor Kirwan on November 1, 2025, at the age of 54.

Trevor was a loving father to Ashley (Abubakari) and Kyle (Alysha), and a proud Grandpa to Laila and Jamal. He was a cherished son to Hayes (Betty) and is now reunited with his mother Bonnie and brother Pat.

He grew up in Lively, where he spent his childhood surrounded by family, friends, and the great outdoors he loved so much. From a young age, he developed a passion for adventure and could often be found exploring the backroads, hunting for partridge, or spending time on the trails. An avid outdoorsman, Trevor found great happiness in fishing, snowmobiling, and quadding. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and generous spirit—qualities that touched everyone who knew him.

Trevor loved to tinker in the garage—whether he was fixing something that needed repair or building projects from scratch like decks, wooden Christmas trees or anything else that caught his imagination. He took pride in working with his hands and had a knack for creating practical things that would last.

As per Trevor’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honour his memory.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Hourtovenko and his team for their exceptional care over the years, to the Cardiac Unit at HSN for their compassion and support, and to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre for their dedication throughout Trevor’s health journey.

Trevor’s love, laughter, and strength will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
