In Loving Memory of Theresa Dupuis (née Richer)

Theresa passed away peacefully at 94 years of age in her home with her daughter Lise sleeping next to her in the early morning of August 9^th, 2025.

Beloved wife of Andrew Dupuis (predeceased) and loving mother to Lise Bertrand husband Roger. Dear daughter of Beatrice and Wilfred Richer (both predeceased). Dear sister to Rita McKinley, Leona Hamilton, Susanne Gray, Paul Richer, Constant Brunet and Estelle Robinette all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Theresa showed pride in her daughter by attending many band performances both near and far to support Lise’s musical endeavors until her 92^nd year.

Theresa lived a long, rich life, she was an amazing cook. She loved watching birds on the feeder outside of her bedroom window. She sold Avon for more than 50 years and enjoyed visiting with her customers and missed them very much when she retired at 82 years old.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Thanks to Bayshore, whose nurses went above and beyond their duties. Special thanks to Taylor who was a fantastic advocate on Theresa’s behalf. Thanks to Dr. Walton who ensured the utmost care and respect. Thanks to the PSW’s at Paramed: Chantal, Alexandra and Solanyi and also to the coordinators Jessica and Estella.

Special thanks to our close family friend Yvonne “Tootsie” Currie for always being there for us.

Interment of Theresa’s cremains will take place on Friday, August 22^nd (her mother’s birthday) at the St. Jacques Cemetery (behind the church), 50 Cote Blvd, Hanmer at 1:00p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Cortina Pizza, 7 Cote Blvd, Hanmer (across the street). Come out and raise a toast for Theresa and grab a bite. If you could kindly let us know if you plan on attending as I will require an approximate number for the restaurant.
