Beloved partner and best friend to Jack Stewart (predeceased Nov. 2021). Loving Mom to Dorinda Kelly and Darren Kelly (Pamela) and children, Ava and Jared. Carol was daughter to Karl and Zella Morrison (predeceased). Loving sister to Wayne Morrison (Carol), Karen “Betty” Demore (Sylvio) both predeceased. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews.
In Carol’s early years, she worked for the Canadian National Railway in Toronto and once moving to Capreol, was Office Manager, for 30 years, at the Credit Union. Carol will be forever missed and loved by her community of faith, Capreol Trinity United Church. Carol was a spark plug and lived every day to the fullest. She seemed to have one speed, ‘go-go-go’ and was nicknamed, a ‘gazelle.’ Whether hoisting herself into vehicles, driving her red scooter, or manoeuvring through the isles and Foodland, Carol was a force to be reckoned with. Carol was proud of the care she gave to her four-legged companions - Smokey, Muffin, and Mackenzie. The furry friends loved when she baked bread.
Carol had many talents. She was an avid knitter, baker, and adored singing.
From a very young age, Carol spent countless cherished hours singing in the church choir, and it continued all her life. She shared with gratitude, the gift of her Mom, who played the piano while Carol sang the words (too young to read them).
Carol hopes on a clear night, you’ll look up, find the brightest star in the sky, and remember her laughter and love of life. Rest easy Carol, beloved child of God.
A Funeral Service for Carol will be held at Capreol Trinity United Church on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2:00pm.
Carol was an awesome person who would help anybody in need of help. She put all people ahead of herself. I knew her since I was a little kid and she never changed. We will look up at the brightest star and see her again.
Our condolences to her family and all of her friends. Carol will never be forgotten and always remembered.
Alex, Helen and Sean Nepitt.
