Huard, Gerry

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerry Huard on Friday, August 29th, 2025 at the age of 88 with loving family by his side.

Loving husband of Helen. Proud father of Nancy, Todd (Jackie), and Cindy (Bobby). Cherished grandfather of Jamie (Noelle), Kristina, Chelsey (Josh), Tessa (Ryan), Curtis, Asher (Alex), Tyler, Cody (Katharine), Emily (Branden), and Jordan. Great grandfather of Bailey, Montee, Charlee, Jaycey, Riley, Jersie, Evan, Carter, Macie, Colton, Cameron, Willow, and Olivia. Sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

A dedicated and hardworking individual, Gerry was a painter for over 60 years and had a passion for boats. Known for his sense of humor, he was always a jokester who enjoyed teasing with a smile and a wave. 

As per the family’s request, there will be no visitation. However, a Celebration of his Life will be held at the Valley East Lions Club, 4611 St.Joseph St. in Hanmer, Ontario on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 1:30pm.
