Of all the people Willy loved, he loved his wife Jackie the most. Married for 67 years and loved every moment together. They spent many summers traveling with their children or friends, enjoying their time spent with each other. He especially loved spending the winters in Florida with his best friend and cousin, Norm and Aline. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Willy was an avid gardener with the greenest of thumbs. His love of gardening was a very close third to his wife and children. He often spent many days working on his personal garden and providing for his loving family. Willy enjoyed watching and cheering for the Montreal Canadiens, even if he was alone. He was an avid Sudoku player up until the very end. Wilfrid was a very hard worker in all aspects of his life and never shied away from helping a family member in need. He provided strength and stability to all who knew him. He has left a mark on all of us that will never fade.
A service and a celebration of life for Willy and his son John, predeceased November 2020, will be held at Ste Marguerite d'Youville Roman Catholic Church 4290 Highway 69 N Val Therese on Friday October 3rd, 2025 at 10 am with a luncheon to follow the service.
Chris and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Jackie and her family on the passing of Willy. He will be missed by all who knew him. I have many fond memories of Jackie and Willy being friends for many years. May he RIP. 🙏🙏❤️❤️
