It is with great sorrow that the family announces that heaven has gained an angel with the sudden passing of Chad Andre Gagne on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the age of 42 Years. Cherished son of Andre and Viola (née St-Jacques). Dear brother of Angela (Robert) Bigras. Sadly, missed by his nieces Stephanie (Simon) and Joelle (Zachery) and his nephew Alex Bigras. Beloved grandson of Armand and Liliane (née Tremblay) Gagne both predeceased and Vincent and Tessie (Mc Mullin) St-Jacques predeceased. He will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chad was such a loving and caring man with a beautiful smile. He was always checking up on everyone. Chad enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He will forever be in our thoughts. In keeping with the family wishes, there will be no visitation or Services at this time.

I am very Sorry to hear that Chad is no longer with us.
Like many have stated already Chad was a great friend with a kind heart. We lost touch over the years but I still have fond memories of our friendship through hockey, roller blading, and playing Baseball Stars on the Nintendo.
He will be truly missed.
My condolences to the Gagne Family

My sincere sympathies go out to the Gagne family.
It’s heartbreaking to hear that Chad has passed. It saddens me to know that many of my funny stories for my high school days have now become TRUE memories. Chad has always been an extremely kind, dedicated friend with a huge heart and a pure sense of humour. Chad would never give up on ideas he believed in and constantly reminded others of the positive side in ever situation. Chad and I tended to either run into adventures OR create them when we were younger. From the bear encounter while blueberry picking in our “Hanmer Spot” to the time we decided to be roller blading stars in a day (and came home with the worst pavement burns ever) – you always saw the positive side of our adventures. Our friendship has endured 2 decades and now has ended earlier than we agreed. We promised that we would maintain our friendship until we were both old and only able to shuffle to a park bench outside our assisted living homes and share an oxygen tank to lighten our load – and we’d remember all the funny/crazy events from our childhood; but life never works out the way you plan. So for now I’ll say goodbye to you hear on earth but you better save me a seat on the park bench in heaven.
Thank you for your friendship and I’ll miss you Chadoo💕

To a very Dear Nephew,
Who always had a smile on his face when he meet you. Kind and thoughtful. Chad always asked about his cousins, Aunts and Uncles whom he hasn’t seen for awhile. I’ll never forget you Chad.

I only saw him three weeks ago enjoying a coffee in Tim Horton’s in Capreol. We had a nice long chat and always had a positive outlook on life. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to everyone that he loved.

I was very sad to hear of Chad’s passing. He has been a family friend for many years. He was a kind and faithful friend, always checking in to see how we were doing. We shared many coffees, many conversations and many good memories from earlier times. Chad had a great memory and a gentle sense of humour . He always listened with his whole heart to what you said. He always had time for a coffee. I will miss you Chad but you’ve left a piece of yourself in our hearts.
