Bruce passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, April 3rd, 2026: a gentle goodbye for a man who lived anything but quietly.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Melissa, and his grandchildren Jason, Simon, and Kevin. Dear brother of Jimmy (Val, predeceased), Lorraine, John (predeceased), Connie, Wendy (Lloyd), Michelle (Wayne), and sadly missed by the many nieces and nephews who knew him not just as family, but as a force of nature all his own.
To say Bruce was a “character” almost feels like an understatement that would make him laugh. He was larger than life in the way some people simply are – the kind of person who filled a room without trying, who left behind stories that grow a little bigger every time they’re told, and who made ordinary moments feel like something worth remembering.
Though there may be comfort in knowing he passed peacefully, there’s also a quiet ache in wishing for just a little more time…another conversation, another laugh, another glimpse into the life he carried so boldly.
Bruce will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever spoken about with a shake of the head and a smile: the unmistakable signature of a life that made an impression.
A special thank you to Rachel for all you did for Bruce.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
