Wanda Dorion, age 66 passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Born in Midland on July 26, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Joyce Dorion and step-daughter of James Carpenter. Growing up in the small town of Midland, family and friends were Wanda’s passion and delight. Blessed with a wicked green thumb, her gardens were adored by many. Wanda had worked as a Nurses Aid with the elderly at Georgian Manor and also enjoyed making others happy by putting together flower arrangements at Petals & Blooms. Quiet time was spent painting ceramics and participating in a good bingo game. Loving mother of 3 sons, Jules Marion, James Marion (Lorri McColgan) and Jeremy Marion. She also leaves behind three grandchildren Cassidy, Tyler, Marisa (predeceased) and great grandmother to Maya, Spencer (predeceased), and twins Chance & Chase. Dear sister of Peter Dorion, Randy Dorion, Velvet Dorion and Laurie (predeceased). Special aunt too many nieces and nephews. Dearest friend of Edith (Faye). A Celebration of Wanda’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 316, 26 Willow Street, Waubaushene on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00p.m. The family wishes to thank all of those at Health Science North that took great care of her during her illness.
