Collings, Stephanie Veronica Rose

January 2, 1987 – January 29, 2026

Stephanie Veronica Rose passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 39. Born on January 2, 1987. Steph lived her life with spunk, heart and a fierce love for her family. She brought light, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her beautiful and beloved son Logan Tangie, who was the light of her life whom she loved beyond measure. She is reunited in peace with her partner Spencer Tangie who predeceased her.

Stephanie will be forever cherished by her loving mother Carmelle Bernier (John Pegg); her father Robert Collings (Johane Wafer); and her stepfather and friend Marc Santerre. Stephanie was a proud and devoted big sister to Zackary Glabb (Valerie), Jordan Glabb (Amber), and her baby brother Merek Santerre. She held a special place in her heart for each of her brothers. Loved by her extended family from Sudbury, Renee, Mitch and Dylan Paquette. She will be remembered by her devoted grandparents Nelson and Lillian Bernier (her mom and dad without papers). She is survived by her loving Auntie Pic-Nicole Morin (Mike) and her uncle Calixte Bernier (Meredith). Stephanie was greeted by her loving Auntie Cynthia Bernier who was waiting on the other side to embrace her. She is lovingly remembered by her mother-in-law Carla Tangie.

Stephanie will be remembered fondly and lovingly by her many cousins who loved her very much.

Stephanie was brilliant, beautiful, and deeply loving, with a truly beautiful soul. She loved a good cup of coffee and long, meaningful conversations with her supportive and devoted mother. Nature was her sanctuary, a place where she felt peace and connection, and where her spirit felt most at home. Above all, Stephanie loved her family fiercely and wholeheartedly.

Stephanie was an amazing mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She mattered deeply. She was admired for her strength, her warmth, her humor and her ability to make others feel seen and valued.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, loved her and were touched by her warmth, strength, and light. Steph touched many hearts through her kindness and unwavering support for those she loved. Her laughter, creativity, and generous spirit will live on in cherished memories and stories shared by family and friends.

She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. A celebration of Stephanie’s life will be held at the Pentecostal Church in Chapleau with Pastor Dan officiating on Monday February 9th at 11:00 am followed by a light luncheon, where loved ones can gather to honour her memory and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Donations to the Pentecostal Church in Chapleau in memory of Stephanie would be greatly appreciated by the family.
