It is with a tremendous, profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of David Chretien, a cherished soul whose light shone brightly upon all who knew him. David was a beacon of joy, always gracing those around him with his ever-present smile, light and his knack for humour, even in moments where laughter seemed unlikely. His love was whole and unconditional, touching everyone he met.
A creative spirit, David had an insatiable drive to innovate and improve, whether through his music, art, games, or other creations. He had a passionate gift for bringing new and unique perspectives and beauty into this world. His loving, gentle, and kind nature made sure he is beloved by many.
David's departure at the tender age of 23 has left an irreplaceable void. He had many dreams yet to fulfill, and his absence will be forever deeply felt by all who were blessed to know him. He leaves behind his father, James Chretien (Michelle Rieux), his mother, Isabel Maleau (Yannik Aubertin), his brother and sister, Aiden Chretien and Stephany Rieux, his grandparents, Esther Chretien, Gerard Chretien (predeceased), Carol Stevens, Ronald Malo (predeceased), his truly beloved cats, Mini and Pebbles, and he is dearly survived by his love, Hannah Bellmore, who was his partner and confidante. David's memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy of love, creativity, and laughter will be cherished forever. Celebration of life is May 10th, at Magnetewan at 11am, 10 Hwy 529, Britt Ontario.
David was truly a remarkable man….
My deepest sympathies to all of David’s loved ones..
