Brunet-Pepin, Carolle

In Loving Memory of Carolle Brunet-Pepin

February 26, 1958 – September 25, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, friend, and community pillar, Carolle Brunet-Pepin, who left us on September 25, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born in Cheminis, QC, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Lucienne (née Matte) Pepin. Loving sister of, Claude, Noël (Linda), Linda (Michel), and Louise (Gilles). She is predeceased by her sister, Ginette. She leaves behind her loving children: Cindy Brunet (Mike), Jennifer Joly (Pat), Edgar Brunet (Amanda), and Luc Brunet (predeceased). Carolle was a woman whose love knew no boundaries — a fiercely devoted mother and an even prouder Mimi to her seven grandchildren: Ashleigh, Brianna, Mikaylah, Arabelle, Sebastian, Lucie, and Mirabelle. She was also soon-to-be a great-grandmother. Carolle will be forever missed by her best friend Everett, his brother Carl, her special friends Giselle and Andrea, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carolle was a passionate businesswoman who poured her heart into everything she did. Her family was her world and so was the taxi company she built, Garson Nickel Centre Taxi, which she nurtured like a second home. For Carolle, her employees were not just workers — they were family. With a heart full of generosity and a spirit that could brighten even the hardest days, Carolle balanced strength and softness in everything she touched. Her children will remember her as a guiding light — steady, selfless, and endlessly supportive. Those who worked beside her will remember the way she led: with fairness, laughter, loyalty, and love.

The community and customers she served for over 20 years will dearly miss her smile and laugh. She always went above and beyond for everyone she encountered. Carolle believed in hard work, kindness, and the power of showing up for your family, your team, and your dreams. Her legacy will live on in the people she raised, the business she built, and the many hearts she made feel seen and valued.

A Celebration of Carolle’s life will be held at a later date. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and honour the beautiful life she lived. She was truly one of a kind and she will be missed beyond words. “Though you are no longer with us in body, your spirit lives on in every life you touched. May you rest peacefully, surrounded by the love you gave so freely. This isn’t goodbye — it’s see you later, Mom.” ❤️
