In Loving Memory of Quentin Jack
May 14, 1982 – September 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Quentin Jack on September 12, 2026, at the age of 44.
Born and raised in Sudbury, Quentin was a bright, generous, and genuinely hilarious presence in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a dedicated employee at Vale, where his natural talent for electronics and knack for solving complex problems served him well throughout his career.
Quentin was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Whether he was offering thoughtful advice, working on an electronics project, enjoying a round of golf, traveling, or simply spending quality time with those he cherished, Quentin brought warmth and light wherever he went. Above all, he will be remembered for his sharp wit and his endless joy in making people laugh.
Quentin was predeceased by his beloved wife, Melodie Carrier, in 2019.
He is survived by his loving mother, Annette Jack; his grandmother Patsy, grandfather Moe (predeceased), his sisters Dianne Morelli (Mike) and Christine (Martin); and his dear nephews and niece: Angelo, Jayda, Mekhi, and Jelil. Quentin will also be deeply missed by his Uncle Charles (Carmen), Aunt Dianne (Tim), and his cousins, friends, and co-workers. He leaves behind a lasting legacy in the hearts of his best friends Chris, Ethan, and his godchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the South End Legion (Lockerby Legion Branch 564, 2200 Long Lake Rd., Sudbury). All family and friends are warmly invited to attend, share memories, and celebrate the incredible life Quentin lived.
