It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey Harper on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the age of 80.
Harvey shared 50 years of marriage with his wife Diane Harper. He was a proud father to Tracy Gamble (husband Terry) and grandfather to Craig Gamble (Brianna Rasmussen). Harvey's greatest pride and joy was his grandson Craig who held a very special place in his heart. Harvey's love for his family was endless and the memories he created will be cherished forever.
Harvey leaves behind his brother Murray (Darlene) Harper, and his sisters, Enid (the Late Russell) Degagne, Judy (Peter) Jenson, Beckie (Roger)Trivers. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Harvey was predeceased by Father Robert Ellis Harper Feb 16, 1957; Mother Annie Williton (Harper) August 18, 1995; stepfather Bernard (Bun) Williton, March 11, 2006, Brothers Wilson Harper Feb 16, 1947, Chester (Late Ruth) Sept 22, 2018, and nephew Robert Degagne, July 19, 2019.
Harvey enjoyed the simple things in life - family time, fishing, hunting, traveling (no matter where you went Harvey knew someone) and telling stories about the good old days. He had a story absolutely anything. Those stories will be remembered and cherished by his family for years to come.
Harvey will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
The Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
