It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Ghislaine (Jessy) Brosseau.
She fought a year long battle with cancer and passed away on June 16, 2026, days after celebrating her upcoming 65th birthday with family and friends.
Ghislaine (Jessy) Brosseau leaves behind her husband, Chris Clark, daughters Cristale Marier (Elsa), Cristine Marier (Tyler), Sarah Clark (Branden) and son, Steven Clark. Ghislaine adored her only granddaughter, Dixie, who brought so much joy, laughter and light into her life. Survived by her brothers, Normand Brosseau (Chantal) and Gilles Brosseau (Lise). Predeceased by her parents, Lionel Brosseau and Giselle Brosseau (née Courchesne). She will be greatly missed by many nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles and dearest friends.
Ghislaine (Jessy) was a proud mom and grandma, whose greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones. You could always count on her watching her “Toronto Maple Leafs”, all decked out in fan gear!
For those lucky enough to know her, Ghislaine (Jessy) was a steady light– warm, genuine and full of quiet courage. Her laughter, her kindness and the way she made people feel seen and loved will stay with us forever.
In respect of her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date. A donation to the Northeast Cancer Center would be greatly acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
