Carole Leblanc is sad to share that on June 4, 2026, her husband, Richard LeBlanc (Mallais) passed away at the age of 69 at Pioneer Manor, in Sudbury, Ontario.
Richard leaves behind his beloved wife and caregiver for the past 10 years Carole LeBlanc. He also leaves behind his children, Elizabeth and Justin (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Conner, Tristan, and Ariawna. He is also survived by his siblings, Margo, Linda, Jane (John), Tracy (Tom), Kathy, and Andy (Sheryl), along with many nieces, nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Germaine and Marcel (Hardy) Mallais.
Country music was a big part of Richard's life. He spent many years playing and performing, doing what he loved and sharing that passion with others. Richard will be remembered for the good times shared with family and friends and his love of music.
As per Richard’s wishes, no service will take place. His wife and family thank everyone for their kindness, support, and condolences during this time.

I am so sorry to hear of Richard’s passing. I knew him from Pioneer Manor. He recently shared a table with my partner Rich. I had opportunities to get to know him. He was always friendly to Rich and I. He will be missed. My deepest condolences.
