February 9th, 1952 – April 23rd, 2026
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Glen Grieve on April 23rd, 2026.
Glen was a proud father to his children, Jennifer Del Papa and Jason Grieve, whom he loved unconditionally and supported wholeheartedly. He took great pride in their lives and accomplishments and truly enjoyed their humour with one another. Above all, his grandson, Dakota Del Papa, brought him endless happiness and pride.
Glen shared a strong and loving marriage with his wife, Barbara Grieve, of 47 years. They often said they didn’t know what they would do without each other. She was truly his best friend, and their bond was built on love and deep devotion.
He had a passion for cars and enjoyed the simple routine of meeting his “coffee buddies” daily at Tim Hortons. These moments of connection and conversation meant a great deal to him, and he valued all of his friendships.
He especially enjoyed time with his wife, children, son-in-law Cary Del Papa, and his grandson Dakota. These moments brought him great happiness and meant so much to him.
Glen often spoke of those he missed who had gone before him, especially his twin brother Gary, who was his best friend and he missed deeply every day. He was also predeceased by his sister Lynne and his parents, Hugh and Helen, all of whom remained close in his heart. He is survived by his sister Karen, whom he loved.
Glen will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
