June Marie MacInnis (Bailie; Briscoe), 90, passed away in Sudbury on Thursday December 11, 2025. June spent her early years in London, raised in a multi-generational home with her late siblings Bill, Hugh, and Roxie Ann. As a young woman, June served for the Canadian Air Force as an Air Woman operating radar receivers, stationed in RCAF Station North Bay, working on “Project Harlequin”. In 1955, June settled in Sudbury marrying Gilbert Francis Briscoe (predeceased) and raising four children while residing in Val Caron. In the 80’s June moved to Orillia and married Donald Daniel Francis MacInnis (predeceased). Later they returned to Sudbury to live out their last years.
An interment service will take place on Friday June 5, 2026 at 12:30 in the afternoon. The service will take place at the St. Andrews - St. James Cemetery in Orillia, Ontario.

Anne Road, Sudbury, Ontario. Join us in the Grand Paris Ballroom for an evening of food, storytelling, music, and dance.
