Cherished grandfather to Samantha Buchy (predeceased Feb 2025), Jordan (Jennifer) Chretien, and Bradley Lear Chretien.

Dear brother of Betty (Rod) Furchner, Gerry (Elva) predeceased, Raymond (Anita), Roger (Therese), Robert (Viviane), and Anita (Roger) Tessier all predeceased.
Brother in law of Jeannine (George) Lemieux, Rene (Dorothy) Lalonde, Georgelene (Hilaire) Lavoie predeceased, Marcel (Ramona) Lalonde, and Jean Guy (Nancy) Lalonde.
Jean Claude was loved by many nieces and nephews.
He was a mechanic by trade and was well known in the industry for his work on alternators and carburetors.
Many knew him as the candy man because he always had some in his pockets.
He always had a smile on his lips and a song in his heart. He adored his grand and great grandchildren very much. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and puttering in his garage.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
