The family announces with great sadness her passing on February 5, 2026 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of 48 years to Gerald. Mother to Katherine. Sister to Richard (Gilberte) and Gloria. Predeceased by parents Alcide and Ruth (née Fretz), as well as siblings Alan and Paul (Laura).
Paulette spent her career as an office administrator for the Rainbow District School Board, mostly at Sudbury Secondary School where she made many wonderful friends. She loved the Beatles, as well as gardening and fishing, and in her retirement, years enjoyed bird watching in her backyard and made sure her bird feeders were always full.
Paulette will be greatly missed by friends and family, including her grand dogs.
The family would also like to express gratitude to the staff at Health Sciences North for their kindness and compassion during Paulette's hospitalization.
