It’s with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Lucille Dionne (Poirier) on December 11th, 2025 with her family by her side at the age of 82 yrs. Beloved Wife of predeceased husband Jacques Dionne.
Lucille was a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
Lucille is survived by Lise Dionne (partner Blaine Newton), Nicole Dionne Glanz, Diane Watkins (husband Herb), Paul Dionne (wife Ginette), Norman Dionne (wife Kathy), Angele Seguin, and Linda Boyd (partner Wayne Philippe). Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Richard Poirier. Predeceased by her parents Rose and Edmund Poirier and her brother Paul Poirier.
Lucille was an avid outdoors person enjoying everything that the French River had to offer.
We are thankful for her warmth, humor, and the love she gave so freely.
She leaves behind a legacy of care, thoughtfulness and quiet strength.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 Am on December 27th, 2025 at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church in Alban On.
The family of Lucille Dionne warmly invites you to join them for a reception following the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made a local food bank or a cause close to your heart.

Family of Lucille, Joe and myself are so very sorry for your loss. When I received the call that she passed I was getting a Xmas card ready to send her. What a shock to hear of her passing. Met Lucille in the 60’s and her kids were friends of our daughter. We had many laughs together, she was so down to earth and I was looking forward to the coming summer to share more coffee and laughs with her. Chatting on the phone just isn’t the same. I know she loved her family and chatted or text to keep in touch and hear the news. Lucille you are truly missed and I lost a friend. REST IN PEACE. Doris Fischer & family
