In Loving Memory of Christopher Daniel Routhier (April 21, 1986 – October 11, 2025)

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Daniel Routhier on October 11, 2025.

Chris is survived by his beloved Son Carter Routhier, his loving mother Diane Duquette (Ed), his father Reynald Routhier (Rick) and his sister Melanie Forget (Marc Forget). He was a proud and loving uncle to Hunter and Geneviève Forget. Sadly missed by many uncles, aunts and friends.
October 11th will forever be remembered as the day of the greatest heartache a parent, a sister, and a son should ever have to endure. Chris will always be remembered as an absolutely devoted father and best friend to his son Carter — a bond so strong that it will never be broken in this lifetime or the next.

An avid outdoorsman, Chris loved nothing more than being outside — snowmobiling, quadding, camping, and fishing. He found joy in spending time with his close friends, whom he considered his family. Chris had the most infectious smile and laugh, which will be missed more than words can express.
One of his proudest accomplishments was achieving his dream of owning his own business. He worked tirelessly and poured his heart into everything he did, always with Carter as his greatest achievement & motivation.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Melissa Beaulieu for always being there for Chris when he needed help. He loved and appreciated you deeply we appreciate you so very much

There are no words to truly explain the pain and emptiness we feel with this loss. We take comfort in knowing that Chris is now reunited with his guardian angel — his grandmother — who will welcome him with open arms in heaven.
Chris, you are finally free from all pain and suffering. We will love you always, miss you daily, and never forget you. Until we meet again.
Love, your family.

We’d like to thank the OPP and Dr. Centis for all of their work.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
