It is with deep love and great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Albert Tincombe at the age of 93. Richard passed away peacefully with family by his side. Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret of forty-four years. Proud father of Deborah (Ray), Judy (Scott), Melanie, Michael (Celeste), Suzanne (Jeff), Sandra (Vince), Sean (Sherry), and Sarah (James). He cherished his grandchildren: Jordan, Kyla, Karly, Ian, Eric, Julia, Claire, Jake, Sam, Evan, Erika, and Nolan and his five (soon to be six) great grandchildren.
Richard led a full life. As a bush pilot, he staked claims and hunted throughout Northern Ontario. Richard was a proud member and active volunteer of the Rorab Shrine Club (North Bay) and a charter member of the Warren & District Lions Club. He was happiest walking the family farm (‘the back forty’) with his dog, cutting wood for winter, and tending his gardens and barn.
The family is grateful to the precious staff in Park Place at Pioneer Manor. (You know who you are).
The family is taking time to grieve privately and will gather with family and friends to celebrate Richard’s life at a later date. In place of flowers, donations to the Shriner’s Hospital or Kipling Baptist Church would honour his memory. Above all, the family asks that even the smallest act of kindness be carried out in Richard’s name.
