February 21, 1962 – September 22, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Ouellet on September 22, 2025, at her home. Beloved wife of Dan Ouellet. Wendy was a loving stepmother to Brooks Ouellet (Lyrissa) and Hillory Ouellet (Tyler). She was a cherished grandmother to Brooklyn, Brynleigh, Taya, Kristian, Kaden, Mayssen, Leighton, Hailey, Harley, Ivy, who brought immense joy to her life. Wendy was the devoted daughter of Verna and the late Gerald Proulx, and a loving sister to Gerald, Darlene, Allan, Tom (Linda), Terrence “Terry” (predeceased) (Sharron), and the late Jimmy. She will be missed dearly by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She will also be missed deeply by her faithful companion, her dog Bo, who was her pride and joy. Wendy dedicated many years of service to the Canada Revenue Agency, retiring early in 2017 due to declining health. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo, playing darts at the Legion, and shopping. Wendy also loved spending quiet nights at home with Dan cheering on her beloved Toronto Blue Jays. Wendy’s warmth, sense of humour, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of Wendy’s Life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Capreol Legion.
She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered ❤️
