With heavy hearts and full of memories, we say goodbye to Jeanette, who passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, at the age of 76. She lived with quiet grace, a warm heart, and a spirit that lifted everyone around her.
Jeanette was the beloved wife of Lucien (Lou) Roy, devoted mother to Manon Roy (Jacques) and Michelle Beaulieu (née Roy) (Gilles), proud grandmother of Joshua Wiebes (Cassie), Matthew Wiebes (Jeremiah), Jessica Banfich (née Pearson) (Brandon), Zacharie Beaulieu (Meagan) and Isabelle Beaulieu (Liam) and proud great-grandmother of Jaxon, Gracie, Ava, Aria, Annabelle, Alexia, Anthony, Ashton and Aspen. She was the beloved sister of Norm Lavigne (Shirley), Pauline Levens (née Lavigne) (Tom), Cécile Labrosse (pre-deceased) (née Lavigne) (Norm) and Marcel Lavigne (Linda). Her life was filled with simple joys, shared stories and the kind of laughter that lingers.
The words feel small in the face of her loss, her love leaves a lasting mark on everyone she knew.
And when the hour is right and the glasses are raised, we’ll say the toast she would’ve wanted:
To a life well lived, to love without regret, and to always finding the light – no matter how cloudy the day. Cheers to you Jeanette, sis, mom, mémère. Happy hour won’t ever be the same without you.
