Brazzoni, Vanda (nee Guzzo)

March 30, 1955 - August 27, 2025

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Vanda Brazzoni following her courageous battle with cancer.

Vanda was a devoted wife to Loris Brazzoni for 51 years, a soft place to land for her daughters Melissa (Nick) and Jessica (Paul) and a cherished sister to Adriana (Carl) and Tony (Linda).  Predeceased by her parents, Francesco and Clorinda Guzzo.  She will be deeply missed by her niece, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Vanda lived a life full of kindness and positivity, always seeing the good in others and finding joy in life’s simple pleasures.  She was quick to offer a warm smile, a gentle hug or an encouraging word.  She was generous with her time and energy, especially with older ones and those in need.  She was funny, peaceable, caring, compassionate, loyal and dependable.  To put it simply, she was beautiful.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 3720 Old Hwy 69 in Val Caron. You may also attend virtually over Zoom (Meeting ID: 7058976971 Password: 1234).  Vanda had strong faith in her God, Jehovah, and the Bible’s promise of a future free from sickness and death.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Jani, Dr. Pearce, Dr. Masters, Dr. Singh and the staff and volunteers at the Cancer Centre, 4 North, and Maison McCulloch Hospice for their extraordinary kindness and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to donate.jw.org or to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
