Vautour, Rose Eva (nee Blanchard)

In Loving Memory of Rose Eva Vautour, 77 years, who passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Health Sciences North after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Roderick Vautour. Cherished sister of Elmonde “Liz” Bigras (Marcel) and Jacqueline Martin (Rosimond). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in St. Charles, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Rosa Blanchard. She lived in Alberta and British Columbia for 40 years before settling in Coniston, ON. Rose was a very generous person, always ready to help others. She belonged to the Coniston Seniors and was an avid bowler, dart player and loved to crochet afghans which she would graciously donate to her friends and as prizes for different organizations. She will be sadly missed by family members and good friends. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Pitre and staff, Dr. Singh, Dr. Lee Toner, Dr. Knight, Dr. Walton and the staff on 4 North at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion. Respecting Rose’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
