Ryan, Wayne Robert

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Wayne Ryan, age 60, Friday, January 29th, 2016 at Health Sciences North. Cherished husband for 36 years of Julie (Moulton). Loving and proud dad of Christopher and Emma. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Maybelle (McFadden) Ryan. Dear brother of Clifford "Kip" (Diane), John, Randy (Karen), Anna May Smith (Cliff), Dan and Colleen. Dear son-in-law of John Moulton (Emma predeceased), brother-in-law of Lorraine Smith (Reg predeceased), Gladys Rangaratnam (Ratnam), John (Beulah), William "Bill" (Joanne). Wayne made friends wherever he went and will be remembered for his great sense of humor that stayed with him till the end. The family would like to thank Dr. G. Bakker and his receptionist Marion for over 20 years of exemplary care. To Dr. Noble and Dr. Knight, words cannot express how wonderful you were to us, especially in the last weeks of Wayne's life. Thanks to the staff at the Cancer Centre, 4 North Oncology Unit, Dr. Varghese and staff at the Diabetes Centre, Dr. Pearce and Dr. Singh. Julie would like to thank her "work family" 8 North Cardiology for their care and unconditional support through this long and difficult journey. In keeping with Wayne's wishes there will be no visitation or service.
